As one of the world’s largest natural history museums, the Field Museum is home to a 5,000-year-old mummy tomb, ancient Chinese jade, taxidermied creatures and Sue—the 42-foot-long T. Rex.

Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo

Striving to bring nature to urban areas, one of the oldest zoos in the U.S. is home to animals ranging from polar bears to African painted dogs, and offers sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the skyline.
