Outback Bowl

There’s nothing like the adrenaline rush of performing for more than 65,000 cheering fans. You can also participate in adjudicated performances that bring concert, jazz and marching bands together. The winner of the field show competition will give a featured performance at the coveted pre-game show.

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl

Festival participants will march through downtown Atlanta as part of the New Year Eve parade! Concert bands, jazz bands, field show and parade groups can even compete in adjudicated performances and clinics.

Cherry Blossom Festival Parade

Attend one of Washington's most exciting traditions, The Cherry Blossom Festival. Your marching band will compete for one of sixteen coveted spots in the parade, which runs along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Streets, NW, and will be featured in a live simulcast on ABC 7/ WJLA-TV and News Channel 8. Combine music and history with this premiere festival in Washington, D.C. Take your marching band to the largest annual spectator event in the Nation's Capital.

IPL Festival 500 Parade

The Indianapolis 500 begins with the annual IPL 500 Parade held the day before the race. Nationally-known celebrities, costumed characters, marching bands, patriotic units, specialty units, spectacular floats and giant helium balloons fill the streets to celebrate the world's largest single-day sporting event. The Parade will be telecast live on WISH-TV 8 and on VERSUS Cable Network. More than 300,000 spectators will rev up for race weekend by watching the pageantry and larger-than-life floats light up the city.

Mardi Gras Parade Band Trip

No one does Mardi Gras like New Orleans, and your students can be a part of the festivities. March in one or any number of the dozens of parades and share the fun that comes from dressing up, catching beads, or going to one of the many balls around town. Come spend Mardi Gras in New Orleans for an extremely unique experience for your band to enjoy.

Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade

The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is the nation's oldest Thanksgiving parade, dating back to 1920. It announces the arrival of the holiday season with beautiful floats, marching bands, musical guests, dance teams and lots of holiday spirit. The parade broadcasts throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania on Channel 6 with Dave Roberts, Cecily Tynan and Kelly Ripa hosting. Other Channel 6 anchors and reporters will be located along the parade route. Include your school marching band in this time-honored tradition enjoyed by nearly two million local viewers.

Republic Bank Pegasus Parade

Before the Run for the Roses, join the annual Pegasus Parade through the streets of Louisville, Kentucky. The parade, first held in 1956, is the Derby Festival's oldest and founding event, contributing $14 million to the local economy. The parade is known for its beautiful equestrian units and it is not surprising that the parade is consistently voted as one of Louisville's favorite events.

Dublin St.Patricks's Day Parade

Take your drama troupe on a once-in-a-lifetime trip with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Combine the beauty of the islands and crystal blue sea with an outstanding theater festival and learning experience. Students will attend specialized acting workshops designed to give in-depth performance instruction and will compete for a special opportunity to perform for the ship's passengers during the cruise. They will also be critiqued by a professional adjudicator and have private feedback clinics by top theater professionals. Your troupe will hone their craft and prepare for a bright future on Broadway, Hollywood or anywhere in between.

Hollywood Christmas Parade

Kick off the holiday season marching right down Hollywood Boulevard! The Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade broadcasts live to all of Southern California by KTLA Channel 5. Your band will join other bands, floats, performers and over 100 TV and film stars in this televised parade viewed by well over 1 million people.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Band Trip

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is the longest running event right down Broadway! Macy's annually provides an occasion to celebrate America and call forth Christmas. Spanning approximately two and one-half miles in length, and televised by NBC, your students can be part of an 85 year tradition and seen by an estimated 75 million viewers. As only a select group of bands will be able to perform, Brightspark will be proud to offer assistance with the registration process.

Tournament of Roses Parade Band Trip

Celebrate the New Year in Pasadena, CA marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Millions of spectators from around the world will celebrate the 123rd Annual Tournament of Roses Parade. Take part in the tradition and pageantry of the magnificent floral floats, high-stepping equestrians and spirited marching bands. Let this year be your school’s chance to be a part of "America's New Year Celebration."
