London

One of the world’s most important cities, London is a cultural and historical highpoint of any tour. Stroll among the city’s famous parks, tour a world class museum and take in the views from the famous London Eye.

Stratford

Walk in the footsteps of the world’s most famous playwright. Stratford, home to William Shakespeare, is a destination for everyone-not just fans of the Great Bard. Situated on the picturesque Avon River, Stratford is a quaint location for your group to tour.

Oxford

Oxford is home to some of the world’s most prolific and influential thinkers and writers. This college town has a rich architectural history, as well. Explore the world where Alice in Wonderland, Dr. Seuss and The Lord of the Rings were born.

Cambridge

A hub for learning, the city’s university is an internationally recognized center for research. Cambridge also offers a unique look into British collegiate culture and is home to many architectural gems.

 

Day 1 ~ United States * London

Fly overnight to London, England

 

Day 2 ~ London

Wander the streets of London exploring the sites: The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Convent Garden

 

Day 3 ~ London

Take a guided tour of London and see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, along with the sites in Piccadilly Circus, the beauty of St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

Follow that up with St. George’s Chapel and the State Apartments on a guided tour of Windsor Castle

Enjoy the dramatics of the night at an evening theater performance

 

Day 4 ~ London * Oxford

Take a trip to Oxford and explore one of the most famous universities in the world: University of Oxford

While on campus, check out the books in the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest and the second largest library in Europe

Travel down the road to Blackwell’s Bookshop, with its cavernous Norrington Room and then try your hand at punting on the Thames River

 

Day 5 ~ London * Cambridge

If the timing is right, travel to the University of Cambridge and enjoy the theatrics of the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival

 

Day 6 ~ London

Visit the Tower of London and examine the construction of the Tower Bridge

Take in the views from the Thames River cruising to Greenwich, where you can visit the Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum, the largest of its kind in the world

 

Day 7 ~ London * Stratford-upon-Avon

Spend the day in Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre

Take a stroll along the riverside walk, starting in the Bancroft Gardens towards the Holy Trinity Church

 

Day 8 ~ London * United States
