France is known world-wide for its sophisticated urban elegance, rustic countryside, luxurious seaside resorts, rich culture and second-to-non cuisine! Your students will see the stunning capital city of Paris with it legendary landmarks, including the iconic Eiffel Tower. The northern region of Normandy offers a mix of beautiful countryside and long coastlines, and is famed for its many significant World War II battlefields. In the northwest, the administrative and cultural region of Brittany, which occupies a large peninsula, is steeped in ancient history, ready to be explored.

Paris

Enjoy the famed City of Lights with your student group. Explore Montmatre, the Eiffel Tower, and the world’s most famous museum, the Louvre.

Normandy and Chateau du Molay

A cultural hub in Northern France, Normandy is also home to historic villages, beautiful Norman Castles, and the infamous battle sites on the region’s beaches. Make sure to also explore the beautiful wooded grounds of the nearby estate, Chateau du Molay.

Provence

The sunny villages of this region have been inspiring artists like Van Gogh, Matisse, and Renoir for centuries. Famous for its quaint architecture and nearby farms of lavender and sage, Provence is a restful and beautiful stop on your tour of France.

Brittany

Brittany is a town rich in French history. Known for the many megalithic stone structures that dot the countryside, Brittany was home to important Stone Age settlements. Also seen in this region are the many beautiful and well-preserved castles and fortified cities of the medieval ages.

Day 2 ~ Paris
Take a walking tour of Paris through the Opéra District, wander about in Place Vendôme, take in the views along Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, one of the most fashionable streets in the world, and relax in the Tuileries Garden
Discover the magnificent collections of cultural antiquities, sculptures and artwork within the walls of The Louvre, one of the world’s largest museums
 
Day 3 ~ Paris
Enjoy a guided tour through Paris, from the Palace de la Concorde, along the prestigious Avenue des Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe
Take in the amazing views from the Eiffel Tower and learn about France’s military history at Les Invalides
 See some of the finest French Gothic architecture at Notre Dame de Paris  
 
Day 4 ~ Paris * Rouen
Travel to Rouen and see the Tour de Beurre, travel down Gros Horloge Street and visit the church of Saint Joan of Arc
 
Day 5 ~ Normandy
Spend time touring Etretat, taking in the views from the commune’s famous cliffs, and the artifacts in The White Bird museum
Travel down the road to Honfleur and visit Saint-Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France
 
Day 6 ~ Normandy
Visit the sites of the Normandy landings during World War II, Pointe du Hoc and Pegasus Bridge, along with the American cemetery Travel on to Caen and view the Museum for Peace
 
Day 7 ~ Normandy * Brittany
Head toward Brittany to visit the megalithic monuments, the Calvary sculptures and the many fortified towns, including the walled city of Saint-Malo and the Soldier Tower
 
Day 8 ~ Brittany * Paris
Travel back to Paris, with a stop at the Palace de Versailles, to take in the spectacular architecture, gardens and history
 
Day 9 ~ Paris * United States
Fly back to the United States
